To help you deal with the issues at work, the EAP provides assessment, short-term counseling, referral and follow-up services. A predetermined number of sessions are available at no cost to eligible employees and their family members to encourage early problem identification and problem resolution. Information about individual employees who use the program is not shared with your employer. To read more about what your EAP can do for you and how to access it, please visit the EAP benefits page.
Each area contains articles, Skill Builder training, audio and webcasts as well as relevant links to web sites that offer additional assistance. To request written materials, call 1-800-280-3782 or sign in, enter your company code, and select Live Connect to request information from our work-life specialists.
You may request a telephonic consultation with licensed/certified professionals for legal advice or representation, financial planning, investments and/or tax consultation, referrals to licensed childcare facilities or varying types of in-home or agency care for aging family members.
"Lunch and Learn" workshops, seminars and supervisory training are scheduled and advertised throughout the year on a variety of topics. Please check with your HR department and/or benefits office for upcoming workshops or to request a workshop. We offer in-depth, online and on-site employee orientations and supervisory training designed to help identify, document, constructively confront and refer problem behaviors to the EAP. We also provide individualized topical training programs and lunch hour presentations covering a broad range of topics as a standard feature of The Life Connection. Topics and scheduling are coordinated with your human resources and/or benefits office and are made available throughout the year.
When designing a customized training program, we work with the employer to develop and deliver topical workshops and customer-specific activities that promote awareness of the EAP, improve the work environment, and enhance personal functioning.
